"It Will Rain" is a song by American artist Bruno Mars. The song was released on iTunes for purchase on September 27, 2011. An accompanying music video was planned to premiere on October 26, 2011 on MTV; however, on October 24, 2011 Mars announced via Twitter that the music video had been delayed for several weeks. It eventually premiered on November 10, 2011. The track appears on the soundtrack to the film ''The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1''. Skylar Grey performed the song with Mars during his live tour of Europe. ==Writing and production== "It Will Rain" is a love ballad co-written and produced by Bruno Mars and his songwriting and production team, The Smeezingtons. The ''Breaking Dawn – Part 1'' soundtrack was released on November 8, 2011. Mars described the song as concerning "the darker side of love". Mars later remarked he had to "turn off the radio" upon hearing the final mix of his vocals on the song, saying "I felt like I was a mosquito singing.
